Chetak Foundation rolls out an Eye Check up camp for Cab drivers at Delhi Airport with Vision Spring and GMR Varalakshmi foundation..
Chetak Foundation organized an Eye Check Up Camp under its Swasthya Plus Initiative with Vision Spring in association with GMRVF (Varalakshmi Foundation) for the cab drivers at Delhi Airport, Delhi. The initiative was appreciated by GMRVF CEO Dr Ashwani Lohani. Eye Check-Up was carried out for more than one hundred and fifty drivers. Free spectacles were also provided to those needing vision correction.Speaking on the occasion, Dr Ashwani Lohani, CEO, GMRVF, said, "This initiative is a step towards ensuring road safety for all road users. We are happy that Chetak Foundation has identified this critical area and organized an eye-check-up camp for cab drivers in partnership with VisionSpring. This timely initiative aligns with GMR`s values which strongly focus on associates` welfare and road safety. We hope such initiatives inspire more organizations to come forward for such a noble cause`.

Some of these include Oxygen Plus (an environment initiative), Swasthya Plus (a Health initiative), Shikha Plus (an Education initiative) and Zindagi Plus (a Road Safety Initiative)Besides GMRVF, Chetak Foundation has also tied up with Delhi Skill & Entrepreneur University, Vision Spring, Sir Ganga Ram, Max & Fortis Hospitals, Delhi Metro, IOCL, Honda Motorcycle and scooters India Ltd, Haryana Government and CRPF for its health, nutrition, environment, and road safety projects.
Chetak Foundation was bestowed with the CSR India Award for Skill Development, CST Times Award for its Health Initiatives and ESG Award for Social Impact.
