Chetak Logistics and DSEU sign an MoU to strengthen Employability of Logistic and transport students.<\/h4>\n

The Delhi Skill and Entrepreneur University (DSEU) and\u00a0Chetak\u00a0Logistics\u00a0today signed an\u00a0MoU\u00a0to jointly develop a course curriculum for Logistics and Transportation Courses at DSEU, in the presence of Mr. G Raghuram, Principal Academic Advisor at National Rail & Transportation Institute (NITI) and Chairman Advisory Board, Chetak Foundation, Ms. Neharika Vohra, Vice Chancellor DSEU, Mr. Ashwani Kansal – \u00a0Registrar DSEU, Mr. Mukesh Haritash, Mr. Sachin Haritash and Mr. Arun Arora, Directors, Chetak Foundation. In addition,\u00a0Chetak\u00a0Foundation\u00a0has also announced the setting up of the Jai Krishna Scholarship and Logistics Awards for the students of these domains.<\/p>\n

Chetak\u00a0Foundation\u00a0is the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of\u00a0Chetak\u00a0group, a leading player in logistics, in India. The\u00a0Foundation\u00a0is working on improving the quality of life for underprivileged communities in the logistic space and public at large in the domain of its focus areas.<\/p>\n

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Neharika Vohra, Vice-Chancellor, DSEU<\/strong>\u00a0said, \u201cWe are delighted to enter into an agreement with Chetak Logistics to work on upgrading the course structure of Logistics and Transportation courses at DSEU and to enhance employability of our students. We are glad that Chetak Group is offering Jai Krishna Scholarship awards to students pursuing these courses. We look forward to maintaining a long and fruitful relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n

DSEU has been established by the Government of Delhi in August 2020 for Skill development and to seek employment\"\"<\/p>\n

and inculcate an entrepreneurial mindset. DSEU aims to fill the existing vacancy of skill training in the industry and provide<\/p>\n

great opportunities to the youth. The university will offer people from all sections of the society to study here so that world-class<\/p>\n

education can be available to the underprivileged sections of the society. The courses offered by DSEU will be driven by the needs<\/p>\n

of the industry and will prepare the graduates for a career.<\/p>\n

Prof. G Raghuram<\/strong> said<\/strong>, \u201cIt is heartening to see Chetak Logistics and Chetak Foundation come forward and join with DSEU for a noble cause. It is a perfect alignment of corporate, academic and social forces joining hand to strengthen the next generation to make them market-ready. To take his vision forward, the\u00a0Foundation\u00a0has set up \u2018Jai Krishna Scholarship\u2019 to help students of the Economically Weaker Section and Jai Krishna Logistics Awards to recognize the DSEU students who will provide innovative solutions in the logistics domain. We are thankful to Vice-Chancellor Ms. Neharika and her team for this alignment, which will seek to make students employable through world-class skill education\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

The Chetak Foundation has rolled out amazing schemes to take its mission forward. Poshan Plus (Hunger alleviation and Nutrition), Swasthya Plus (Health & Fitness), ‘Siksha se Rozgaar’ (Education to Livelihood), Zindagi Plus (Road safety), Oxygen Plus (Environment protection), and Sahayata Plus (Disaster\/Emergency support).<\/p>\n

Recently the Chetak Foundation was been bestowed upon with the CSR India\u2019s Award for Skill Development and CST Times Award for its Health Initiatives during Coved<\/strong>. The Foundation distributed high-quality sanitization kits to thousand of Covid front-line workers.<\/p>\n

Besides DSEU, Chetak Foundation has also tied up with Vision Spring for its Vision and Road Safety initiatives. The Foundation has also associated with credible organizations like Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Delhi Metro, IoCL, Haryana Government and CRPF for its health, nutrition, environmental and road safety projects.<\/p>\n

Jai Karan Sharma was a philanthropist and strongly believed in growing together with communities and carried out outstanding work for the upliftment of the underprivileged. His legacy is being carried forward through Chetak Foundation, set up by his family, as a fitting tribute to him.<\/p>\n
